The Mashrabiya Project

Teaming up with the Museum for Art in Wood, The Mashrabiya Project exhibition showcases a collection of intricately crafted wood-turned mashrabiya, a distinctive architectural feature prevalent in buildings across the Islamic World. The project is presented in both English and Arabic languages.

 

GDLOFT played a crucial role in crafting a logo that mirrors the artisanal, decorative expertise, and intricate nature of a mashrabiya. A key consideration was the legibility of content in both English and Arabic. Additionally, GDLOFT contributed to the project by designing various materials such as wall vinyls, window graphics, brochures, digital ads, and catalog book (in progress), all of which embody a seamlessly integrated bilingual design.
