Wrestling With Justice

GDLOFT helped visualize a new interpretive plan at Stenton. Highlighting the history of enslaved and indentured people who lived and worked there in the 18th and 19th centuries. Through new exhibitions, updated artifacts, and expanded tours and programs, the project makes their stories visible and challenges common assumptions about slavery in the North and among Quakers.
